Sticky footer

A sticky footer is one that stays anchored to the bottom of the browser viewport as the page scrolls, regardless of the length of the content. Sticky footers are versatile components that can be used to promote a piece of content, or to direct the user to take a specific action such as download a PDF, subscribe to content or fill in a contact form. Footers can be can be sticky on page scroll or fixed in one place on the page.
