Unlike individual securities, market indexes aren’t directly investable. Instead, most investors use index funds or ETFs, which are designed to track the performance of designated indices, less fees.
How BlackRock selects index providers and who we partner with is an important part of our product development process and influences the ongoing management of the product.
S&P Dow Jones are one of many premium indices that BlackRock uses in Australia.
