Monique Donders

Monique Donders, Managing Director, is the Country Manager for the Netherlands and a member of the EMEA Executive Committee. Ms. Donders was head of the Dutch Institutional Client Business from 2015 until 2017.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Donders held several positions at Robeco, amongst others as Chief Risk Officer. From 2000-2009, Ms. Donders was Professor of Financial management at the University of Maastricht, responsible for the Master's program in risk management of financial institutions. From 1990 till 2002 she held various roles at MeesPierson, the Institute for Research and Investment Services and Erasmus University. Ms. Donders also served on the supervisory boards of Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn and APG Treasury Center and was an external advisor to the ING and KLM pension funds.

Ms. Donders holds a PhD in Finance from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam where she also studied Econometrics.
