Gordon Jack

Gordon Jack, CFA, Managing Director, is a member of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) within BlackRock's Institutional Client Business. He is responsible for leading BlackRock's business with UK and Nordic insurance companies. He is a member of the global FIG Executive Committee and the EMEA Institutional Leadership Committee.
Mr. Jack has held a number of roles at BlackRock. Before taking on his current role in 2014, he was Head of EMEA Client Service within FIG, responsible for client service delivery to insurance companies across Europe. Prior to moving to FIG in 2009, Mr. Jack was a member of BlackRock's Middle East and African Institutional team, covering universal banks, central banks, sovereign wealth funds and endowments. He began his career in 2003 as an analyst in BlackRock's International and Alternatives division, where he focused on global bond, global derivative and liability-matched clients.
Mr. Jack earned a MA degree, with honours, in economics from the University of Edinburgh in 2003.
