Director, Head of the DC Institutional Client Business for the East Coast

Taylor Benson, Director, is a member of the defined contribution (DC) Institutional Client Business. Taylor is the Head of the DC Institutional Client Business for the East Coast, where her team is responsible for new business development and relationship management for Corporate, Public and Taft-Hartley plan sponsors with assets greater than $1 billion. Taylor works directly with plan sponsors to implement investment solutions that accomplish the retirement goals and objectives for their participants.

 

Prior to joining BlackRock, Taylor was a Senior Principal at Galliard Capital Management, a ~$100 billion fixed income and stable value asset management firm, leading new business development and consultant relations. Prior to Galliard, Taylor was an Investment Consultant at Segal Marco (formerly Segal Advisors) working with Institutional Corporate, Public and Taft-Hartley Plan Sponsors in an advisory capacity on asset allocation, plan design and investment manager selection. Taylor began her career as an Investment Analyst at Hewitt Associates.

Taylor attended Providence College where she received a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics. Taylor currently serves as the Vice-Chair on the Providence College School of Business Advisory Council.
