Scott Gladstone is a senior investment strategist in BlackRock’s Systematic investment team, where he helps shape the firm’s enhanced multifactor, thematic alpha, and U.S. Active ETF strategies. With a focus on systematic equities and alternatives, he delivers investment analysis, product innovation, and thought leadership to partners and clients, seeking to provide connectivity into the firm’s systematic investment processes and research. He is a published author in the Journal of Portfolio Management and Journal of Alternative Investments on the topics of asset allocation and data modeling in private markets.

 

Prior to his current role, Mr. Gladstone was a software engineer in the Financial Modeling Group within BlackRock Solutions. In that capacity, he developed client-facing technologies that leverage proprietary Aladdin analytics to assess investors' asset allocations using a factor lens. He was additionally responsible for enhancing and maintaining a subset of Aladdin's suite of macro and style factor risk models.

 

Mr. Gladstone earned a A.B. degree in Computer Science, summa cum laude, from Dartmouth College.
