Sunil Dalal, CFA, Managing Director, Co-Head of Aladdin Product Engineering, leads the team at BlackRock that designs, builds, and delivers Aladdin’s business applications. Before this role, he held multiple roles focused on Aladdin including various domain specific engineering teams across investing, trading, post-trade, accounting, and private markets including leading the integration of eFront post-acquisition. He is a member of BlackRock's Global Operating Committee, the Managing Director Promotion Committee, and the Aladdin Engineering Executive Committee.
Mr. Dalal began his career at BlackRock in 2000 within BlackRock Solutions, focused on a variety of different roles in leading Aladdin implementations for various financial institutions, as well as leading business development opportunities and providing ongoing relationship management for Aladdin clients. Previously to joining BlackRock, Mr. Dalal was at Asset Strategy Consulting where he provided a broad range of consulting services including asset allocation, investment policy and manager research to a diverse range of institutional investors.
Mr. Dalal earned a BS degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1995.
