The ETF has been designed to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance, net of expenses, of an index selected at the discretion of BlackRock Canada that measures the Canadian dollar hedged performance of small-capitalization U.S. equities, and, to the extent possible, hedge any resulting U.S. dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars.
