Scott Williamson, Managing Director, is a member of BlackRock's Endowment and Foundation (E&F) effort, which provides investment management services to nonprofit institutions. Scott co-leads the endowment and foundation client business across the Western U.S. Prior to his time with the E&F client business, Scott was Head of the BlackRock iShares U.S. Asset Owner client team, spanning U.S. pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices and insurance companies, and a Strategic Account Manager.

 

Mr. Williamson's service with the firm dates back to 2006, including his years with Barclays Global Investors (BGI). At BGI, he was a Senior Investment Strategist within the Global Index Equity Group, covering a broad range of asset classes, including domestic and international equities, as well as commodities and REITs. Mr. Williamson also served as a Portfolio Manager on the Global Equity Index team.

 

Prior to BlackRock, Mr. Williamson worked for six years as an Equity Analyst at JPMorgan, researching and publishing on semiconductor technologies. He began his career with Wells Fargo and Mellon Bank, where he spent a combined eight years in commercial/corporate banking.

 

Mr. Williamson earned a BA in business economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Southern California.
